VINYL "Echoes of the Sea"
The album features the unique violin music of Ruhnu Swedes and the island’s historical stories, inspired by the nearly 400-year-old bells of the Ruhnu wooden church, seals that trouble fishermen, the forest, the wind, and the waves that sometimes gently, sometimes forcefully crash onto the shore. It gets inspiration from the island’s people, old chorale tunes, and the Ruhnu fiddle camp. The album is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the great exodus of the Ruhnu Swedes.
The stories on the album are in Estonian, but there is a translation sheet into English in the envelope.
